I have been a client of Anna Martin's for nine years, and the best way to describe a session with Anna is like conversing with an old friend. Her non-judgmental approach allows me space to be me. I feel compelled to share whatever woes are weighing me down in this environment. This non-confrontational method is what brings me back every week.

I liken what Anna does to what I perceive an archaeologist would do. She excavates my historical damaging behaviours and patterns and clears the energetic attachments accordingly. Our discussions in sessions are crazy and calm intermittently. I have learned that the best way to approach a session (and life in general) is to let go of expectations and be open and honest.

I now recognise clues leading up to an appointment with Anna, such as an aching foot, a sore neck, a constant headache, or a burst of unexplained anxiety. These tell-tale symptoms are never coincidental. So, when I mention them, I am pleasantly surprised (more often astonished) by the breadth and depth of information Anna can access for clearing. Anna gets to the core! Her insights and perspectives are refreshing and downright spooky at times (in a most spectacular way). I chuckle because I can never predict what will happen in sessions, which is what I love most about them. Some days I will laugh, and other days I will cry, or both. Sessions are unpredictable and profound.

Being a people pleaser is one of the most significant issues I have been working through with Anna. I always had this overwhelming sense of wanting people to like me. Even when I knew they were not good people to be around. I was repeatedly putting myself in harmful and dangerous situations. I could never comprehend why. I always thought it was because I lacked confidence, needed validation, and was afraid to be alone.

Anna has since discovered that some people deceived me into believing they were good, which resulted in ridicule and disastrously impacted me physically and spiritually in my previous life. That is the beauty of the work Anna does. She can exhume every layer of the issue and eventually get to the root cause. So, in this lifetime, as a form of protection, I wanted everyone to like me so they would not persecute me. This discovery is a massive difference between wanting people to like me for validation and appeasing them so they would refrain from attacking me. Uncovering this level of detail has been a potent shift for me, and the result has been astounding. I have a deeper appreciation of myself nowadays.

I had lived in a narcissistic and toxic relationship for so long that I thought this was normal. It is not normal. Since then, I have experienced life-changing personal growth, and I no longer seek approval from others.

I have attended multiple Women Circles hosted by Anna and found that the circles complement my sessions. The connections I have made with the other women enrich my healing journey, empowering me with a sense of connection, and solidifying that knowing that I am not alone.

My experience is that you will not find a quick fix in healing sessions. But what you will find is far more rewarding. I have unlocked parts of myself I did not know existed. I honestly could not fathom my life without healing. I am finally back on track and could never have achieved this if not for the help of Anna.
