EMBRACING UNCONVENTIONAL PATHS: FINDING MENTORS, DIVINE INTERVENTION, AND DOING THINGS DIFFERENTLY

Someone said to me recently while considering her startup business venture that social media seems to be the way people advertise these days. She decided she'd have to do that. I smiled to myself because I've recently closed my social media accounts because it doesn't resonate with me. I may share the odd link on my Instagram to my website or journal posts but that's about it.

The thing is, just because that is how others do things doesn't mean we have to follow along. This is especially true if it doesn't feel right for us.

Change can be a beautiful thing. Doing things differently can be beautiful.

This reminded me that this is how I found my healer and mentor of 17 years. An angel in disguise showed me the way. He had no website, no social media and no clinic or shopfront of any kind. He worked from home and his clients found him through word-of-mouth.

I remember I phoned a local wellbeing clinic seeking energy healing and the angel on the phone gave me his name and number. When I told him how I had found him he knew nothing about this person.

Divine intervention led me to where I needed to be. Not social media, a website or marketing. When we allow ourselves to be in the flow of the Divine, when we listen to our intuition, we will be guided. Our teacher and healer will appear when we are ready to heal, and when we listen.

I love reflecting on this when I remember it's OK to do things differently. There isn't one way that fits all and some of us weren't born to fit in and that is OK. Some of us are supposed to stand out. We just do it differently and quietly.

Here are a few journal prompts I invite you to reflect on:

- How does social media advertising resonate with you? Is it something you feel aligned with, or do you prefer alternative methods?

- Reflect on a time when you found a mentor or teacher in a non-conventional way. How did that experience impact your journey?

- Consider how you feel about doing things differently and standing out. What unique qualities or approaches do you bring to the table?

-Reflect on how Divine intervention has affected you and your life?

If you're interested in exploring alternative methods of healing or finding guidance non-conventionally, please reach out. I offer healing services rooted in intuition and the Divine flow.
