LEARNING FROM OUR PAST: UNEARTHING THE ROOTS
We are all on a journey to uncover the origin of our issues and the purpose of our lives. In my work, I am very interested in understanding and exploring the source of our issues. I am also intrigued by the fact that they have been with us for more than one lifetime. This life is a catalyst, a signpost that allows us to gain insight into our deeper patterns and behaviours.
WE ARE HEALING OUR KARMA
All of our experiences, even the most painful ones, are designed to help us identify where we need to heal, learn, and grow in order to move forward on our spiritual journey. By recognising these old hurts and triggers, we can gain clarity and understanding to move through them and seek healing.
With this knowledge, we can move away from unhealthy patterns and habits. Instead, we can embrace the lessons life hasto teach us. With this understanding, we can create a more meaningful and fulfilling life.
My own healing has led to the healing of issues dating back thousands of years that I hadn't yet addressed. It's fascinating to me that we have to revisit this before we can truly heal and reach self-realisation. It is one thing to be very attuned to this life experience, to learn from and grow from current experiences. However, to truly heal we must do more. The issue's origin must be understood. Energy must be cleared at its source. Until our origin stories are healed, all wounds and injuries will repeat. As the famous American writer William Faulkner once wrote: “The past is never dead. It's not even past.” We must turn back and address the wounds of the past if we want to move forward. We must confront our past traumas and work through them to create a healthier, more balanced future. Only then can we move beyond our past and create a better tomorrow.
TRUE HEALING LOOKES LIKE THIS.
It’s imperative to realise that we are not our bodies or souls - we have souls. Each of our souls contains all of our stories, traumas, and sufferings, and all of our memories and experiences. Spirit, however, is what we are. Our true self is spirit, and life's purpose is to heal and get back to that self, so that we may come from spirit instead of ego.
I like my body - I'm not this body. My hair, make-up, and clothes are fun to play with occasionally, but they don't define me. The beauty of my spirit, who I am, is unimaginable. It defies all physical descriptions and representations on earth. The human side of us is flawed, filled with attachments, egos, etc. By healing and perfecting our spirits, we become enlightened spirits in bodies free from human flaws. With this realisation, we can break societal constraints and expectations and transcend physical appearances. We can appreciate ourselves and others spiritually. We can be liberated from our true selves. We can be liberated from oppressive systems and structures that prevent us from being our true selves. We can create a better world by being our authentic selves and living a life of genuine freedom.
By doing so, we can stand up to the status quo. We can also be the agents of change, light, and progress that the world needs.
